KFic Comment Buddy

For now we have just a few simple guidelines to ensure this page is not used for anything past positive comments for authors. Please do take a quick look below!

1. We only work on Archive of Our Own and Twitter currently - we are learning about sites that are new to the mods (such as AFF) and getting used to them so we can further extend this

2. We only accept positive comments. Criticisms that aren't asked for by the author, rude comments, or anything else will simply not be accepted by the page! Our only exception to this is a gentle and polite note within the comment to ask for a triggering tag to be added to a work (simply, authors sometimes forget!) but again, this must be polite

3. We will not be commenting on fics that include any form of rape/non-con, incest, pedophilia or bestiality. Selfcest is fine as long as the selfcest has not be done via twincest.

4. When we run events, please try and take the time for other authors that you're hoping other authors will take on you! Whilst we won't make people do this, if you're posting a fic for the hopes of a comment, do consider taking a few minutes to leave a comment for another author!

5. Comments will be posted in a once/24 hour period. At the end of the Mods' day, they will go through all new comment requests and post them all from that day. Any comments sent in after that time will be posted the next day

6. For Twitter fics/AUs, please submit the form as usual and Mods will either DM the author if their DMs are open or tweet to the author directly if they are not!

7. Finally, if someone is directly linked to severe negativity in the submissions, then they will be blocked from the page. Negative submissions will always be deleted and not shared with the author but anyone actively found to be doing this will be blacklisted. This is a page for positivity and love, let's keep it that way ❤️

What is KFic Comment Buddy?

As readers ourselves, Mods know sometimes comments can be really hard to get written and sent. This is down to numerous things: it could be a reader is too shy, it could be their account doesn't "look like" a K-Pop fic reader's, the reader has already commented on a few fics and is getting anxious about potentially "spamming" the author (we promise! no author gets mad about this!), or maybe your author friend has been down about their lack of comments and you want to leave a comment without them feeling like they've accidentally asked for it.

As authors ourselves, we know sometimes a lack of comments can be hard. It's all well and good writing for ourselves, or for our friends, or for a shipdom's niche, but sometimes it's hard when you don't get any comments or get very little - it can feel a lot like you're writing for ghosts and it can be a bit discouraging.

This page is to try and help combat some of these - if you want to leave a comment for an author but for whatever reason it may be, you find yourself unable to hit the comment button, you can submit the fic and comment to us and the Mods will deliver the comment for you to boost authors, share positivity and to help build a bridge over some of the obstacles that can get in the way of commenting.
